Braces Update :: Smoke colored bands? Set date?!

Oh boy, we’ve got lots of rambles in this update! My appointment was on Thursday December 12, 2013. It was a quick one with an X-ray, band change from pink to smoke, and a whole lot of waiting and confusion! I also forgot to mention that I got a pair of wire ties on my two incisors. I have no clue what this does! OH WELL. I am instructed to wear my elastics both in the form of Class 2 full time. You bet your bottom I will be wearing these full time because I want these braces OFF. So over it! Thanks for watching and good luck with your braces! What are dental veneers?

Dental veneers are wafer-thin, translucent ceramic shells that are placed over the tooth and applied with a special glue. Veneers are predominantly used on the frontal teeth. With the help of veneers aesthetic flaws such as simple tooth misalignments, tooth gaps, unsatisfactory tooth coloration and local discolorations can all be corrected. Why didn’t you get braces instead?
My dentist told me Invisalign was going to be quicker but unfortunately she wasn’t right. Also, after straightening I would still need veneers since some of my teeth were chipped naturally.
